This is a very rambling post today, I'm sorry, I'm in a tired rush. A tired tired summer rush. Which, in my professional opinion, is the most annoying kind of rush. I prefer a crisp winter rush! But oh well.

[this makes him pause, but his aim doesn't waver]

What's your weapon?

[shows him his stick spear]

...How the hell didja survive this long with just that!

[legit sure he's being mocked right about now]

[aim, set, and fire!]



[except there's no explosion. it was a fluke]

[man, some people have no sense of humor!]


[tries to dodge the explosion that doesn't happen, but since he's kind of woozy he just]

[does a painful-looking dive roll out of the way and staggers back up onto all fours]


Sportsman-like, remember?! Sportsman-like!

[he's got one shot left but screw it, he's not wasting it]

[lets the launcher hang from his back, and starts approaching Denmark, pulling Romano's gun from his belt. that too has one shot left]

[looks like that's as "sportsman-like" as it's going to get for him]


[tries to think of what he can do with what he's got]


[there's the gun Norway got from Monaco in his bag, but he'd have to find that and load it and he doesn't have time and everything feels so fuzzy around the edges right now]


[feels around until he finds a rock and pitches it towards Turkey]

[he's beyond thinking about sporstmanship by now, he wants it all to end as fast as possible so everything will go back to the way it was!]

[aligns his gun as he walks closer]

Try revenge, when ya come back.

[wants to have a proper duel with him, someday. Denmark looks strong]

[he shoots]

[and a rock hits him in the face]

[BLAM]


[since he'd moved, the bullet strikes him in the side that was exposed. that'd be in his ribs, just under his throwing arm]


[gasps in pain and curls over]


-shit!


[holy fuck, he forgot how much being shot hurts]


[fumbles blindly for his spear]

[osmaniac]

[damn, he was aiming for a quick death]

[he'll have to get closer to try to finish him off. he can see him trying to grab the spear, but his leg prevents him from moving fast enough]

[manages to get a hold on the spear and he strikes out and up blindly]


[which makes the gunshot bleed more and hurt worse oh ow shitfuck]

[osmaniac]

[it hits, and the spear's edge sinks into his side]

[he grabs at it in a vicious grip to prevent it from piercing deeper, and aims a powerful kick at Denmark's head]

[holds onto the spear for dear life and TAKES THAT KICK LIKE A CHAMP]






[haha, just kidding, that kick hurt like crazy and it's super-effective. he was already dizzy before, and that just made it worse and cut up the inside of his cheek on his teeth. it'll probably bruise nicely, too.]


[tries to see if he can hook one arm around the back of Turkey's knee and pull his leg out from under him]

[osmaniac]

[he might as well try, as he's on the process of trying to break the rest of the spear, snap it and leave only the part dug into his flesh on him]

[he realizes how much the blood loss has affected him when he loses his balance and falls onto a knee next to Denmark]

[kingkongeriget]

[throws himself at Turkey, hoping just his weight is enough to knock him to the ground]

[osmaniac]

[once he snaps the spear away, he feels Denmark's weight against his, his blood dirtying him even more, and he puts as much resistance on his legs as possible and wrestling Denmark right back]

[grabs each side of his head, trying to keep his upper body still enough]

[kingkongeriget]

[trying to keep up a resistance is putting a hell of a strain on that bullet wound, and he's bleeding pretty hard]


[gives him a big old smile with blood all over his teeth]


How's that? Deliverin' on what ya wanted?

[osmaniac]

[fighting tooth and nail with bare hands against a strong man gives him a thrill he had missed during all this, and his own grin in return shows it. in that moment, he feels no worries, just adrenaline rushing and bloodlust]

Perfect.

[a hand catches his chin, and right then tries to shove with his hand still on his opposite temple. Denmark is not fragile, and he has to put every amount of strength he has on him in his attempt to snap his neck]

[a small part of him missed this thrill, it's been centuries since he's fought like this]


[he can barely hear himself think over the blood pounding in his ears, pooling around his tongue, dripping down his stomach]


[Denmark may not be fragile, but he's shaking due to fever and he's losing a lot of blood. just meeting Turkey halfway takes everything he's got and-]
