356 vivacious vampires

Oh vampires! Oh meme! It's October, which is officially Halloween season. And... Himaruya is back? Kind of? Sort of? In a way. I wonder if we'll ever find out what happened on Halloween. Or if it will forever remain... a mystery. Much like the decision making process behind most of these titles.

Enjoy part 356!

Japan, like every country, has its fair share of ghostly legends and spiritual tales. Japanese ghosts and demons are often very... creative!

I love these illustrations! Very inspiring for future projects.

Though I unfortunately don't know any Japanese ghost stories, but I did come across this book once with Japanese monster penises. It frightened me, does that count?

Right? They're very intriguing.

Of course it counts! Monster penises are monsters all the same.

Why not? Giant scary penises crawling along the ground, looking for lost little vaginas wandering around in the middle of the night.

It's a nice ghost story imo ;3;
The series is called Ayakashi: Samurai Ghost Tales
Sorry I had the name wrong earlier
(Bakaneko in the third arc is also pretty cool as an original spinning off into Mononoke)
