part 362 back to pools

It's August!! That special month where summer is still here but also ending, so the stores never know if they should be stocking swimsuits or back to school supplies. And so, like stores, I am covering my bases with this part title.

Are you excited for any of the recent Hetalia news? I'm interested in seeing what the dolls will look like! I hope they won't look creepy, but with dolls it's about a 50/50 shot, you know.

Enjoy part 362!

today's theme: creepy/scary/Halloweeny documentaries

Real life is often scarier than fiction. What are some documentaries on creepy, scary or otherwise Halloweeny topics that you've enjoyed (or not enjoyed) or want to watch some day?

The poster I used is for The Nightmare, a documentary about sleep paralysis that I will probably never watch because I can't stand the terrifying imagery of black shadow figures and a TV special about sleep paralysis once caused me to sleep with the lights on for a year straight. So, trailer here!

I still really like Monsters Inside Me. The set up is a little annoying because they do a lot of skipping around and cuts to commercials at ~dramatic~ moments, but I find the stories themselves very interesting.

Do TV shows based on 'real paranormal activities' count? A Haunting still scares me

I can't remember the names but I ate up documentaries and TV specials about the Salem Witch Trials when I was younger. I remember every one seemed to have its own theory about why the girls accused people of witchcraft.

yooooooo there's a doc about sleep paralysis??? i get that all the time but ever since i learned what it was, i haven't had it as bad as the worst times i've ever had it. i felt like i was being chased and that there were horrible monsters after me and i was in extreme danger, but i couldn't move and i felt like i was consciously screaming and screaming and screaming and fighting so hard to move even just an inch but nothing would happen

anyway i might eventually check it out because nothing can be more scary than actually experiencing it multiple times
