IRL, there is, but that was a while back. Hetalia-wise, not so much, but there SHOULD be. I remember remarking to my mother when she was telling me about a visit to Paris (my dad's half French, and we're Asian, not Americans) that honestly the French and Americans remind me a lot of each other. And she agreed and said that's the reason for the enmity.
