Part 12 is the loneliest number you could ever do

Woah, did Part 11 seem to end without warning, or was it just me?

The challenge is extended until Part 14 maxes, then a poll will be going up! Thanks for being patient, people who have already entered! :)

edit, 5/28:
The journal has been marked for possible adult content.

edit, 5/27:
And, I guess this needs to be said again:

This is a place where you can post and say whatever you feel that you cannot say openly in this fandom and its communities. You want to fangirl someone, bash a fic/art/pairing or talk about how much something pisses you off? Go ahead. Wank and vent and fangirl to your hearts content, no holds barred, no rules. Say what you want, when you want.

Da Rules:
*No image bombing.

Da Notes:
*If you're feeling down, make sure to get help, and refer to links on previous parts if you need them.
*If you don't know how to post images while anon, refer to this comment. Make sure to follow the directions on that comment as well!

And also:
*Posting on this meme, logged in or not, is opening you up and taking the risk for positive and negative comments. If you can't handle that response to your logged in comments, I'd suggest posting anon and not drawing attention to yourself.
*What you say is what you say, so please make sure you want to say it. Except for special cases (that hopefully will not come up) I won't be deleting or screening comments.
*This is a NSFW space. Warnings are not required.

Yeah, I can imagine that might be rather difficult...

Eeey, s'up fellow wanka!

I think you're very cool and I appreciate the level-headed behavior you always bring to discussions, especially ones in drama dens like F!s. I would love to friend you, especially on JF, now that we share a fandom, but I am the shyest panda ever.

P.S: Fuck tha haters. I like your kawaii desu icons, though I'm sorely reminded of Rollo in Code Geass by that particular one you're using right now.

That's the Delta Bessborough Hotel, one've the prettiest buildings in Saskatoon. It's quite impressive up close.

That's the rear of it, facing the Saskatchewan river; I took this photo from the other side.

No, they didn't upset me. They're just really distracting. I keep looking at them to figure out what's going on and when I finally do, I feel like an asshole because I took so long to do it.

...okay, there's a bit of disgust there when I find out what's what, but mostly it's 'durr, why did it take me so long I am so stupid'.

Yes, appreciate the beauty around you!

At least it's better than what I have to deal with!
I went on Google and that picture was like, the best one out of all my choices

- Canada is a huge ass country instead of a small autonomous state of the USA (Yes… I know.)
- Anything on Canada, actually. I never bothered looking up the country before.
- Who was allied with whom in which war (something I could never remember before)
- When Prussia was dissolved

Imagine my surprise to find out about the staunchly Catholic thing.

...What?

I didn't know a thing about Canada's involvement in the War of 1812. Or WWI. Or WWII, for that matter.

Agh, I feel your pain. Only in my case, I'm writing fic where America himself uses SAE (with a few regional differences). It's tough, and I'm also from the South.

I usually drop the final consonants from words and don't do much other than that. Preserving a Southern drawl is nice, but I usually keep it simple, since there are so many non-native English speakers in Hetalia.

Replacing 'for' with 'fer' might work. 'Your' with 'yer' might work in the singular, as well. And then there's 'might could' and 'y'all' and all of that good vocab stuff. There's no rule for this, but something like 'going to' will end up sounding like 'goin'na' where I live. 'I'm fixing to go to the store' would be 'I'm fixin'a' go to the store', for example.

Hmmm... I wouldn't recommend using a non-rhotic accent for Spain, though, and that's sort of what Rogue has in X-Men. (Non-rhotic being the one where speakers drop the final letter 'r' in words before consonants.) It's not really what could be considered universally Southern these days, sadly. I mean, if you wanted to get technical about it. Hollywood and other pop culture outlets still haven't gotten that memo on that one, so I guess it wouldn't matter either way.

Phew, sorry I got kind of wordy there. It's just a special area of interest to me, ahaha.

IIRC modern Greece is mostly Catholic? Or is it just Christian. Fuck, I need to look this up now, don't I.

Greece is widely Orthodox, like Russia.

Greece killed me in the last chapter of my fanfic. I had an easier time with Egypt even, and I don't even know why. :C

*rubs the bridge of her nose*

The div code isn't the best idea for image dumps, ever. I appreciate a url or, even more preferably, an clickable IMG link.

The point for div'ing is mostly just to play around with CSS, give LJ the finger for having hypocritical things to allow in anon comments, and forcibly show a loaded and hopefully disturbing/awesome/lolwhut image to the meme. Also, the fact that someone is going out of their way to plug in pixel dimensions in an image dump is both sweet and completely ridiculous (but mostly sweet; they must really want to show you what they have).

That said, I've never had to use the source code to save images, but I know what you mean when certain/every div won't let you view the background image. This is most likely due to there being no actual content within the div tags. So, what I do is either double-click or triple-click around the top left corner of the image I want (to select all the empty space there), and I'm always able to save images using IE/Opera/Firefox. I can't account for other browsers though.

If it doesn't work for you, that's too bad :(
I suppose you'll be digging through the source code for a while once again.
Also, unless the image dump is being specific about what's being posted, double-check the /cm/ board (typically SFW, no porn) for a Hetalia thread. More often than not, anon is just reposting things they've saved from there.
