Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

I played 1, 2, and Chain of Memories. Didn't bother buying new systems for the other games that came out. I probably won't buy a PS4, either.

I watched this 1962 Soviet movie called The Hussar Ballad.

I liked it because uniforms and listening to Russian and the story was okay (one of those, girl-dresses-up-as-man-goes-to-war plots), but I totally wasn't feeling the romance.

It also made me wish I knew Russian because I only figured out later that most of the dialogue was in verse and if I knew Russian I could have appreciated it a lot more.
