Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

He has a big vegetable garden in his back yard (and a nice big freezer to put up his produce), and he's actually a good cook. It's not flashy like some of the other countries' cuisines, just American home cooking, but it's very tasty.

Her dream house is something that's comfortable with lots of room for people to come over and visit and have fun playing games or something. So anything with a big TV and places for people to crash is her idea of a great house, though she can't deny she loves stuff with a view, whether it's from high above a city or out overlooking wilderness. My personal headcanon is that she's got a couple of homes here and there that she moves between depending on what she wants to do. Like an apartment in the middle of the big city, or an old farm house, or a lodge somewhere so she can go hike and stuff.

If she suddenly became a regular human she would probably get some sort of corny job as a tour guide, then go through a modern school and become an aeronautic engineer or astrophysicist or something. She loves the sky and doing what she loved until she died like a regular human would make her happy. She would leave all the history stuff up to the "professionals," since the history of herself has been largely written anyway.

She has a whale! And then there's Tony. I imagine she's had a bunch of dogs and cats and the occasional oddball animal over the years that she didn't necessarily go out and "get," they just made their home with her. Of course she used to have horses too, like most everyone did to travel. It's always hard dealing with the death of pets, so she doesn't try to go out and get conventional ones. Whales live pretty long though!
