Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

I live with my family since I'm a student full-time, don't have a job and, anyways, where I'm from the norm is not to move out until you get married and many times, if the house is big enough, you stay with them because it's expected of you to take care of your parents as they age.

During summer we live in a two-story house my parents own on a sea town because the city where we are from gets too hot. The rest of the year we rent a flat.

I live alone in a 1-bedroom apartment (with a small balcony that's my favorite part!).

I tend to look at very brief ones, the very long ones I can be bothered to try and read all of those. It just looks so troublesome.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this scene, but I'm sure I'll figure something out...

Feeling a bit conflicted over this.

On the one hand, it's kind of cute to see people excited over the possibility of shippiness/shiptease/what-have-you in an episode (I know I get excited over that sort of thing!), but...it seems like they believe that if the ship becomes canon that it magically grants some sort of superiority over other ships, which I don't believe to be true?

Also, considering how almost no ships are canon, and the only one I can think of that may be considered canon (AusHun) could be debated (in my opinion, please don't lynch me! D: ), I think this person is definitely overreaching in their hopes for canon status (which I believe shouldn't matter so much in the context of shipping enjoyment anyhow?).

/TL;DR, a ship having canon status =/= this ship is obviously superior OMG

For two days I've been trying to figure out what the fuck an aphoristic backfire is, but I finally just looked at the damn prompt/fill on the km and realised someone meant "aphrodisiac."

I think the most annoying part for me is the "FrUK shippers are going to be pissed!!11!" when that strip has been canon for what, years? And the Fruk shippers don't give a shit and neither should they. For heaven's sake.

It's a small 4rm unit but I get my own personal bathroom (<-this is important to me!) and everything's renovated to my liking so yeah I'm a happy little camper!

Urgh, yes. Completely agreed. The Fr/UK shippers might not like it, but I doubt they'll get their knickers in a twist over a little US/UK shiptease of all things, for goodness' sake.

It surprised me a bit that they were so excited over that, actually, because as you mentioned, that strip has been what it is for quite awhile. (It makes me wonder if they're an anime-only fan...) I'll admit that I haven't been keeping up with the anime lately, but if I recall correctly, it doesn't deviate from the source material by a great deal, so I doubt it'll do so now.

And even if it were to do so, as you said, the Fr/UK shippers won't care and just keep on trucking like the fantastic people they are, hells yes. ♥

As for this person, though, well...I just hope they don't try to start a ship war or something, and come to the realisation that they're being a little ridiculous and just stop with this sort of thing. It's kind of mean spirited, in my opinion, and I don't think that's a very becoming trait for any fan. ):

That strip has been out forever. Why are they acting like it being animated would lend it extra legitimacy? Not to mention the whole "it might be canon" nonsense apparently lending it extra legitimacy.

Netherlands/Belgium. At least, the fic side of things seems to be kind of sparse.

Oh, and for just characters, Switzerland. Or rather, it seems lots of people like him, but not a lot of people do anything with him. (Though I'm also guilty of this, ah)

I know the Hetalia fandom isn't into het incest, but I expected it to be a bit more popular in jfen than it actually is, considering that they love incest stuff and Belgium is a brocon and Netherlands a siscon. Well, at least they draw porn for them.

I'm here for about one and a half hours but then I'm gone all afternoon and possibly most of the evening.

I live in a house in the suburbs of a small city with my parents. It's comfortable and I like it a lot, but I'm also looking forward to moving out in the fall to go to college.

WFen doesn't seem to be into confirmed incest, period, het or not, if some other pairings are anything to go by. Which is too bad, really. One would think that these characters being what they are, people wouldn't mind so much... ah, well.

Hopefully they'll eventually get more strips together or something, at least.
