Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

Are you talking about in regards to the RPers? Because the pairing/shipping part of it doesn't matter, that's not what I was referring to in regards to RPers.

It is more regards to Prussian history wise.... Brandenburg was quite an important part of it.
Without the insistance and persistance of the great elector, Prussia would have remained a duchy under Poland and realistically most likely never rise to a Kingdom/state. In fact, a lot of people were against the Brandenburg-Prussia union as they were content under Polish rule.

That's a very small cap of it, but tl;dr: Brandenburg is an important aspect of Prussian history and it makes me sad that Prussia RPers completely disregard it. It's up to them to do what they like, of course. But I can still have my own feelings and preferences, can't I? And it's extremely OOC/strange to have Prussia RPers who treat Brandenburg was a complete strange/Prussia doesn't know him etc.

Because there's no canon character for Brandenburg. I love Prussia as a character and I love Prussian history, but if there's no canon character for me to channel those feelings to, I don't really care and don't feel inspired to produce fanworks.

I can understand that, those movies can get rather..intense for sure. And for no good reason in a lot of cases. I can be alright with a couple of them, but I much prefer other varieties of horror even if they are also pretty gory.

Netherlands and England interaction. Preferably if it's somewhat on the ridiculous side. (I really like silly stuff with these two, ah. It's because of their personalities really.)

Antagonistic historical Sweden VS Norway. (I've just seen too many stories where they're fluffy in time periods that don't make sense for it, and where the relationship at that time and in that way isn't justified. I do like "We're at war but even with what is happening I can't bring myself to hate you; on a personal level I do care about you" but there is a limit to how much I am willing to stretch that.)

Buhyoo anon, i know about brandenburg's role in prussian history.

But important or not, some people just don't care for it.

You don't have to fangirl over everything in a nation's history to be a fan of the hetalia character and all.

You can if you ask me, nobody said anywhere that you couldn't, but the same goes for the people who disregard it.

And then there are people like anon below.
