It's very hit-or-miss for me. I like it as long as the character being humiliated is enjoying it on some level. Even if it's noncon, I need the target to be getting something out of it.
I don't like it when it seems to be intended to do real damage to the target, or strikes me as something that would do real damage, especially if the one doing the humiliating is a romantic partner. As soon as someone starts hurting their partner on purpose and for real, I get squicked. And I really get squicked if the narrative validates the one doing the humilating.
Tl;dr, it's one of those things that's very subjective for me. A lot depends on what else is going on in the story, and how the characters are reacting to that. When it seems to be more about hurting or humiliating someone than it is about how they are experiencing what's going on, I hit the back button. But there are also times when it really hits my kinks, too.
