[ Japan has initially chosen to set up a temporary defensive base within the island's abandoned shrine, as it'd provide him temporary cover as well as protection defense-wise from the surrounding lakes, mountains, and forest. Of course, he didn't get there without first going through the forest behind the Starbucks (and grabbing some Starbucks on the way.) ]
[ Inside the shrine he has mounted his M2 Browning as a sniper rifle the best way he could, and he makes sure to stay close to it in case anyone he's not allied with drops by unexpectedly. The good thing about having a defensive base is he can take someone by surprise when they enter, not expecting him to be there -- or even shoot from far away to wound approaching enemies -- maybe even sneak in a kill or two if he must; as a last resort in order to survive. But for now, at least he can relax a bit before... having to use it. ]
[ It's pretty peaceful and quiet here, too... (For now. He expects that to change soon.) He's currently focused on eating his yam for dinner -- ]
