The best season is coming, meme! Halloween season! I mean... fall! Yeah, fall. I love the fall. I actually like every season in its own way, but I think fall has the best atmosphere. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and excuses to decorate the outside of your house with fake spider webs and zombie hands. Also it means... Hetalia Halloween fanart! (Maybe even... something from Himaruya? Maybe? Bueller? No?)

Too sympathetic: England sometimes. But the guy has quite a few asshole moments too (lying to child America, betraying Austria, bullying China, etc.) ...which make his "oh he's so sensitive inside" moments kinda ehhh. /shrugs
That's tsunderes for you.

Germany...I'm guessing he's portrayed as finding his boss crazy because of the discrimination Germans still get because of the Nazi past. It's still pretty ridiculous next to Russia's portrayal, though.

And while we're at it, it always bugged me that Russia and Japan apparently get come over by these ~craaaaaaaaaazy dark side~ moments which then result in imperialistic desires. It doesn't make sense to me. I prefer the portrayal of other nations in earlier wars who go out to get their piece of the action because they're greedy, self-serving little bastards and that's that. Some part of me is annoyed that the being temporarily out of their minds, in some sense, kind of takes the responsibility away from them. And I'm surprised at how dorky and nice America is (note that I am American, and I do like the character of America a lot - he's one of my favs - but I would've thought a personification of America should have more of an asshole side to him).
