The best season is coming, meme! Halloween season! I mean... fall! Yeah, fall. I love the fall. I actually like every season in its own way, but I think fall has the best atmosphere. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and excuses to decorate the outside of your house with fake spider webs and zombie hands. Also it means... Hetalia Halloween fanart! (Maybe even... something from Himaruya? Maybe? Bueller? No?)

I read a lot of Prussia fics, so he's the first that comes to mind. An irritatingly large number of people seems to think that the only reason he acts the way he does is that he's hiding his inner pain and uncertainties from the others. While I think there could be a bit of that involved, people take it just way over the top. For example, I once saw a headcanon that Prussia can't look into a mirror without breaking down sobbing because his reflection reminds him of how ugly he is and how he can never fit in with the other nations.

I was going to say something eerily similar to this.

I see Prussia as having a mix of both insecurities and inner strength, which makes him such a fun character (I have a silly sort-of-headcanon that it’s a constantly shifting mix and makes him a bit unpredictable). Making him a big ball of crying woobie takes all the fun out of it, for me.
