The best season is coming, meme! Halloween season! I mean... fall! Yeah, fall. I love the fall. I actually like every season in its own way, but I think fall has the best atmosphere. Crunching leaves and pumpkins and excuses to decorate the outside of your house with fake spider webs and zombie hands. Also it means... Hetalia Halloween fanart! (Maybe even... something from Himaruya? Maybe? Bueller? No?)

When I was younger I loved the long-haired, androgynous boys (see: Sakura's brother's boyfriend's angel form; I had the biggest crush on him when I was a kid). Nowadays I almost always prefer short hair, and I like muscles. I also used to favor the well-dressed, put-together characters - the sparkly ice prince types - whereas now I usually like sloppy or rough or dorky looking guys better. And I used to like the shoujo art style, but nowadays I don't care for it and find it an outright turn-off in porn.

Okay okay.

This story was ahhh....I think I forget some details. And I'm tired so I will tell it quickly.

A girl named Masha lived with her grandparents and one day she decided to go with her friends into the forest to pick berries. But she got separated from her friends, I think, and she found a hut. And children never learn not to go to strange huts it's very silly. A mean bear lived in that hut, and when he saw Masha he told her that he wouldn't eat her but instead make her his servant to do the cooking and the cleaning. She agreed so she wouldn't be eaten.

And of course her friends went and told her grandparents and all of that and they looked but never found her. All very sad.

So Masha cleaned for the bear for a little while and one day came up with a plan. She told the bear that she wanted to bring her grandparents some pies she made. Or bread. I can't recall. But the bear thought she was tricking him and said he would do it himself. Masha said yes but told the bear that she would climb to the tallest tree to make sure that he did not eat any of the pies along the way.

The bear went out to check for rain and while he was doing that, Masha found a large basket and climbed into it, covering herself with the pies. The bear returned and when he didn't see her there, he thought she must have gone and climbed the tree already. So he took the basket and went off.

......Are you still awake? Don't sleep while I tell stories!

So skipping through this part, the bear tried to stop and eat a pie twice but each time Masha yelled from the basket that she could see him and that he should not eat the pies meant for her grandparents. The bear was not very bright and assumed that Masha was calling out from her place on top of the tree where she could see him and so he kept going, never opening the basket and discovering Masha.

When he got to Masha's house, he called out that he had brought pies for the grandparents. However, a dog could smell that he was a bear and it ran at him and barked and made the bear drop the basket. The dog then chased the bear away for good. Then the grandparents came out and saw the basket and out came clever Masha and they all lived happily!

Very good story, now go to sleep.
