I find one of my favourite fic authors is among the best at writing my OTP and both characters individually, and she may be the best at one of them, thus why I love her fics. But her writing at times is confusing. Because of the characters she usually writes about she uses unreliable narrators most of the time, and is really adamant about showing and not telling. This and other factors make for a very distinctive style that's easy to spot on even on the km. But sometimes I feel like she tries too hard and the writing ends up being confusing. Latley she had been getting better at it, though, and everything comes off more clear while still being subtle.
