To be honest, that's why I suspected Sweden. If Sealand had approached him like he normally does, I could see Sweden not knowing how to react.

[But surely he wouldn't hurt a kid, no matter how annoying, even back then... Sweden might be dead, but he's still really glad knowing it wasn't him after all.]

I don't think Germany has a motive and he seemed pretty upset with the captain. That leaves Russia, but I was wrong about it being the other one too...

I have a few so I guess it's an MTPs situation? Still!

Here are some for Prumano. These aren't bad every time and I actually like a lot of them if they're handled right, but most of the time they aren't done that well.

- either one of them musing on the contrast of their skin colours and finding it sexy
- the albino Prussian
- Romano crying because everyone loves Veneziano and not him, and Prussia is the only one who ~understands~
- jealous rapist Spain
- angst over not being "real nations"
- if it's a high school AU, Prussia is a troublemaker who bullies Romano mercilessly
- chigiiiii!
- Romano is a blushing virgin while Prussia has tons of experience
- alternatively, Romano as a confident sex god who knows all the tricks
- domestic fluff with no plot or conflict
- Prussia dies
- sexy talk in broken German and Italian

[He takes that pause as meaning he could. Which he can't blame Finland for thinking after last time. He probably wouldn't come out victorious but he could stand a chance. Not that he thinks Finland isn't strong enough, he just can't see him getting caught up in that mess.]

all the usuk ones are obvious as fuck but i'll contribute a couple pet peeves:

england (or america?) is just so full of srs bsns feels that he can't seem to process how to behave in the same room as the other one. come on, now. they interact a lot in canon and seem to be, at the least, friends/bros already, so this seems ooc purely for wangst. i've read at least a couple very well written fics with this trope in it, so it's not a dealbreaker, but still it's amazing and irritating to me how often the family/friend/ally relationship is ignored to hype up relationship drama.

on the other end of it, i also dislike 'they were made for each other' stuff where they get along too well and seem connected at the hip and what happened to the personality conflicts from canon?

also stuff where neither of them can ever take a joke and the whole fic is a series of overreactions to tiny slights, and then overdramatic apologies. they snipe at each other in canon, you know.
