As a previous cat and kitten owner, this is more like putting your kid through the school play. No, they don't want to do it, yes it's for your entertainment, but is it abuse? Not really, it helps with socialization. Besides I guarantee this kitty got play time out of this.

everybody gets naked and/or wears the skimpy stripper outfits that they just happen to have nearby

after that story about the french kids who got drunk, stole a llama from the zoo, and rambled around the city taking pictures with it before they sobered up enough to return it, i imagine france + spain + prussia have done some similar things
