to some extent snk. at first the fandom was so fun and light-hearted - and, i might add, light-heartedly having fun with the gory violent nature of the show.

you know i've realized if there is one thing i hate THE fucking most in fandom it must be the urge some people have to ~justify~ the liking of a pairing or character with ways why it's supposed to be more morally sound and politically correct and healthy and yada yada

would not say this has ruined the series themselves for me, but has definitely turned me off of the fandoms. granted, i was only a lurker anyway.
