Hmmm...well, I think maybe he was born like that a bit, he's always been kind of pessimistic and touchy about things. And his land isn't really as, well, as productive or useful as mine I mean back when he was the Kingdom of Two Sicilies there was a reason everyone was poor except for the landlords and that probably made him even more angry and his half of the peninsula still isn't quite as, um, advanced? As mine. So that's probably it.

Also he's just kind of easy to set off. Romano really does mean well, he's just got a very very roundabout way of showing it.

The swearing probably doesn't help either I mean if anything it makes it worse because the Vatican really hates cursing especially when Romano says anything about the Holy Family and the Vatican isn't fun when he's angry so then they start fighting and Romano's even crankier afterwards.
