i like the term feminism but... i really, really, really wish there was a way to clearly separate myself from radical and/or militant and/or misandrist and/or generally dumbass hypocritical overbearing guilt-tripping dogmatic ragemuffin strawman "feminists" that are all over tumblr

like, see, the nice thing about "sjw" as a term is that it provides a point of separation - one can say, "i care about social justice issues, but i am not a sjw."

i wish that i could say, likewise, "i am a feminist, but i am not a ______." or, failing that, i would go with what you're proposing, "i am [insert new term meaning support of equality no matter what your gender is], but not a feminist"

however, it's impossible to force a term like this, and i expect you'll end up with even more confusion all around...
