We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

See my discussion with anon below. Also POC is a US only term and tumblr uses it for anyone who is a different skin color regardless of one's nationality.

Basically 9 times out of 10 people use the term wrong and use it as a go-to word to describe anyone who isn't white when we should be acknowledging people's individual ethnicities.

There are other issues with the term too esp revolving around the focus of skin tones over lineage/history (not all ethnicities have the same skin tones) but that's a whole argument I don't wanna put my feet into right now.

Every once in a while I think about this fantasy/steampunk thing but then I realize after years of daydreaming I haven't come up with solid plot points or story, I mostly just like to imagine weird flying cities and shit

There's this one awesome Norway/Denmark fanart where they're having sex in the front seat of a car. Well, I was sitting in the driver's seat today, and it occurred to me... y'know, that would be incredibly cramped and uncomfortable and jesus christ, Denmark's so fucking tall, even if Norway tilted the seat back as far as it would go, would he even fit?!

It reminded me of all those "sex in a bathtub" scenarios that sound kind of sexy, at least at first, but once you think about it for a few seconds you realize that unless that tub was fucking huge, it'd be so uncomfortable. And unsexy. Also, water everywhere.
