part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Is anyone else having trouble with youtube videos not loading? Some are find, but others will just have a black screen with the loading symbol and never progress past that. Switching browsers doesn't help.

Well, not quite. I peg you as a brighter musk--not too cloying or heavy because it doesn't suit your personality. Rather, you need some notes of (what else) tomato leaf and mint to brighten up the musk and make it more green than spicy!

Yeah. Sometimes they turn completely black and I need to move the side bar to watch the video. And it also takes forever to load. I also thought it was my browser.

I shower/bathe Monday-Wednesday-Friday, and wash my hair on Friday, which I figure keeps me clean enough for three days.

Yeah. In Chrome, it just won't start, and in Firefox, the error message the first anon also has pops up after a while. Refreshing it a couple of times usually helps, but not always.
I'm not sure whether this is just a problem with my browser, but in Chrome, the video will sometimes play, but there's no sound (doesn't seem to happen in Firefox). Chrome has been working weird for me since the last update though, so it may just have something to do with that.

I've had this problem for a while now. I've found that ctrl alt deleting, then opening up the task manager and ending the "SmartAudio" process fixes it. It's easy to find, because whenever it happens, that stupid program (which I came with the computer and can't be uninstalled, yay) is consuming a ridiculous amount of Memory.

But that might just be my own personal problem. I doubt it's what's causing it for everyone.

I have been up since 4:45. In that time from then until now I've filled my water bottle, eaten something, replied to emails and messages and sent my lesson plans, and put the towels that were on my floor away. I was more productive in the past three hours than I was all yesterday.

But why am I up so early? Because my friend who is staying the weekend kicked me out of bed. I felt bad for making her sleep on my roommate's bed the night before (but really I had been puking and felt like shit), so last night I let her share my bed. I should have known of course, that regardless of how far up against the wall she told me she pressed herself when we went to bed that she would sprawl later and take up the entire damn thing, leaving me (as usual) on the floor.

I love her, really, but omg I can't wait until she leaves.

(On Friday when I was puking she made some shitty microwave pasta that smelled TERRIBLE and then complained when I opened the window and turned the fan on, and then whined when I told her to clean the cups/bowls she used. So of course I ended up cleaning them. I can't wait until I no longer have to hear her talking constantly.)
