We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Not that I'm insinuating anything about the upright and incorrupt FIFA but the referees of this WC seem to really like the Brazil team. If you know what I mean.

the african and concacaf and asian teams and australia will surely be very happy with that

and it's almost like football is a really popular sport in those parts of the world and has been for a long time

We still call our baseball championship the World Series and I think it's literally just us.



No wait, I wiki'd and I'm 100% certain it's just us. It's probably going to stay just us, because actually when we did play other nations in something called the World Baseball Classic we... lost. Er. Was not expecting that.

Doujin drop! Have some Turkey/Sweden by one of my favourite circles. :D

This one takes place in the early 18th century, set during the time that Karl XII spent in the Ottoman Empire after the absolute mess that was the Swedish defeat by Russia at the Battle of Poltava. (At least, that's what it seems to be referencing... the plot + clothing + reference to Russia matches up, so I can't imagine what else it might be.)

So, essentially, there is some comfort. And historical clothing porn. Though that is the only kind of porn here, because the doujin itself is worksafe.
