We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

I don't usally say anything like this, because the beauty of anonspace is how anyone can start fresh and contribute without being tied to an old identity and actions, but since this person absolutely refuses to stop stuffing the old identity in everyone's faces even though that's the last thing we want...

Haha, if only. My state is still so hyped that bigger ones are legal that they've been blowing them off nearly year-round. Like kids that just turned 21 and have been drinking for years, but now they can do it openly omgzors. So I get to hear this all summer long, and perhaps longer.
Try thinking of them as signal flares. Whether they're signals for identifying a party or for over-exuberance or for stupidity or whatever else you want to imagine is up to you.

No. You are the only one who brings it up and the rest of us are fucking sick of it and desperate to grab any excuse to ignore/forget it if at all possible, but you just wont't forgo the attention (and don't pretend like you ~deserve punishment~ of negative attention, because it's clear this attention is exactly what you desperately crave, though it's rude and sick to be dragging us into your personal hangups like this) and let us be in peace.
