‘The Sims 4′ Celebrates Same-Sex Relationships In Pride Tweet

Popular world-building computer game The Sims has come out in support of Pride Month.

In a post on the game’s official Twitter feed, staff released an image featuring an array of characters in opposite and same-sex relationships, accompanied by the tagline ‘Be proud in The Sims 4′.

Debuting in 2000 exclusively on the Microsoft Windows platform, developers EA have always included the option to have same-sex relationships in the virtual world of The Sims – something that ended up gaining the game an adult-only rating in Russia after it was made illegal to ‘promote non-traditional relations’ to under 18s.
