We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

I don't mind! I'm a partner (as of last month) in a law firm. We specialize in immigration, which is 99% of my case load, but at times I am asked to handle divorces, child custody, tax issues, criminal cases, and some civil matters, like responding to debt collectors.

Yes, I think so. I liked that it wasn't a "and then they lived happily ever after" deal. Though I admit, I was a little sad, too, that they probably never meet again.

I am. I was given 20% of the shares for the firm, so if we make a profit at the end of the year, I will get 20% of it. Therefore, I have a fairly vested interest in getting a lot of cases out to bring more in.

I love the work that I do. I love the immigration field because it is so interesting, and I learn a lot about different places all over the world every day. But...I hate the owner, because she has a complete lack of respect for the people who work for her and for her clients. I don't appreciate 20 things being brought into my office, being told they all have to be done that day, and then getting yelled at when my original project for the day isn't completed. She has no concept of how to treat people like human beings, but I am biding my time for now until I can reach the magical "5 years experience" that other law firms look for. Maybe by then I'll turn enough profit to pay off my student loans.

...I'm not scaring off a potential lawyer, am I? I can tell you all the good things about it, too!

EA didn't reveal anything about Sims 4 really that they hadn't already covered. And their video was again only reiterating stuff they'd already revealed, though still fun to watch.

Then again EA has thoroughly earned their reputation for sucking as a company overall, so this is a par for the course.

The already said beforehand they wont have anything for either kh3 or ffxv. About last guardian was only said that it isn't cancelled.

Seems like they're mostly only pushing xiv, the hd 2.5 remix of kh and that rhythm ds game.

The day I get a real job...ahhh...I've had interviews recently, but no offer. So I need to work on my interviewing skills. But I procrastinate on that. And besides, I'm currently enrolled in an online programming training course, and I have a looot of catching up to do. And I get sidetracked so easily because I have so many interests, and a lot of ideas come in my head...like, I am thinking about making a couple of song arrangements.
