part 353 whalers on the moon

We've been here over a year now! I can hardly believe it! Dreamwidth's been pretty good, I'd say, with almost no downtime to speak of and all that! Anyway... how is your spring going? Or I guess it's almost summer, isn't it? Hopefully it's been well! I've been catching up on work and new movies, all very exciting stuff, I'm sure.

Enjoy part 353!

The last one, dream drop distance is only a side part/spin-off, but not considered a main game, just like all the other handheld titles.

Even if the story there matters and makes the whole thing even more complicated. But they can always recycle it for the next hd remix.

I might have overlooked that part, maybe it was in the author's note. But that's a nice thought. I have a soft spot for "rekindling old flame" as a theme in fiction, too. :)

I know the feeling very well! Even though I spend 12-14 hours in the office every day, I still am working on getting my MBA, playing a few video games, working on a mile long shows to watch list, crocheting a blanket for my bed, and a baby blanket for my future godchild, and I do revolutionary war re-enacting every other weekend or so.

But just hang in there! Between law school and this job, I was unemployed for a year, and had to go through the same process. I think I sent out about 300 resumes to job postings before I got this job. This was supposed to be a 10 week temp job, but I got hired for an attorney position and just worked my ass off to work my way up!

Crime fiction!

Historical stuff is fun too.

Wow how do you still have time for your MBA while spending that many hours in office?

That's encouraging--the same was true for my friend. But most people I know have offers right out of graduation. It's more embarrassing for me to not have a job right now because my specialty is in a quantitative field.

I am doing an online program for it. It's very flexible with my schedule. :3

Most of the kids in my class had job offers when they graduated, but I didn't. It sucked! I felt like I wasted 3 years and $100k. Just hang in there. Keep working on your skills, and see if you can find some small contract positions in your field to keep them fresh while building a resume/reputation. If your field has them, see if you can take advantage of networking opportunities, and it's usually worth the $30 to go to an alumni gathering from your college armed with business cards.

Do you like plays, meme?

Have you ever written or thought about writing a play?

Sometimes. I'm picky about plays because I prefer musicals to break up the scenes...
