I still love the portrayal of England in that one never-finished (as far as I know, please correct me if I'm wrong because I'd love to read the rest of it) USUK fic on the kink meme with a premise like Groundhog Day, in that England gets stuck in a time loop until, ostensibly, he gets America to fall in love with him. The America was somewhat nicer than IC - but given the plot premise maybe that was a hint that he's hiding his true feelings? I still wonder who the author was, because even if they have no plans to finish the fic I'd like to read more of their work.
I also love jedishampoo's fics. Great sense of dialogue and banter.
