Generally, when I go through a dry spell, it helps to either
-Work on something that is already almost finished, because it feels good to finally have it done
or
-Start something new that I plan to keep very short. Usually fluff/smut ficlets that are intended to be around 500 words. Responses to prompt generators, that kind of thing. They're quick and relatively brainless and the feeling of finishing something is rewarding enough that it gives me energy to work on other things.
