Frankly, one of the joys of Into the Woods was that it was playing around with fairytales and yet not trying to be family friendly (not that, imo, it was particularly raunchy or boundary-pushing either, it was just very clearly not aiming at a family audience).
Whatever. I don't expect the singing could ever top the stage version anyway, so, meh.
