See my discussion with anon below. Also POC is a US only term and tumblr uses it for anyone who is a different skin color regardless of one's nationality.
Basically 9 times out of 10 people use the term wrong and use it as a go-to word to describe anyone who isn't white when we should be acknowledging people's individual ethnicities.
There are other issues with the term too esp revolving around the focus of skin tones over lineage/history (not all ethnicities have the same skin tones) but that's a whole argument I don't wanna put my feet into right now.
