It's particularly annoying when someone feels the need to give their own country ALL THE GOOD, COMPETENT TRAITS and attempt to "validate" it by saying stuff like "well there are famous artists from my country so my country should be good at art, and there are famous mathematicians from my country so my country should be good at math, and such and such was invented in my country so my country is a scientific genius, and there are immigrants in my country so OBVIOUSLY my country knows every other country's language, and and and and"
