that does seem a bit... yeah that's probably not something i'd say, or at least not in those words. i can see how hurtful that could be. but then again, it's hard to judge tone and intent since it's not like i know either of you nor was i there.

if i were you, though, i might talk to her about it. like, don't make it about whether or not you or jennifer lawrence is hotter, which is beside the point, but rather that you feel bothered by her making comparisons or joking about your looks because it's a sensitive spot for you. like, make it clear that it's not about necessarily needing to flatter you, it's about her respecting you. or maybe like the next time she does something like this, just ask her why she likes to compare like that, and point out that you wouldn't do the same to her because you wouldn't want to hurt her feelings, so she ought to be considerate of your feelings in the same way.
