between tumblr and 4chan it's like i'm stuck between a rock and a hard place seeking a good spot to hang for fandom stuff.
but yeah, at this point i think i'd prefer even 4chan over tumblr - not because of this hotel thing, i mean, but overall atmosphere. and jesus, that is quite an accomplishment, to become more fucking irritating than 4chan.
only my other thought is you don't want the sjw pack to spread elsewhere either, which might happen if tumblr crashes too fast. better to have it contained. so tumblr shouldn't die, it should stay intact as a flytrap for the crazies and some of the more moderate and sensible fans should siphon off to someplace better where we can all fucking play with our fictional toys in our own sections of the sandbox without being so judgey and hypersensitive and occasionally outright fucking bossy/controlling.
