In high school, my favorite class was choir (because if you were in the school's concert choir, you got to practice in the middle of the day instead of after school) and singing was a lovely break from all my academic classes. Of the traditional subjects, I loved all my science classes (well, no, I didn't like chemistry or physics very much at all. I liked elective science courses like astronomy, meteorology, and marine science much better. I liked biology all right, too. But my favorite favorite science was earth science I had in middle school.)
And that leads me to college, where I studied geology. My favorite geology subject was History of the Earth.
OK, ok, this was way more than a favorite subject. I think it can be summed up with natural history being my favorite subject, although that was never a class in itself. I just loved school.
