And we're only a few months away from a new season and hopefully a certain someone will finish up certain storylines they haven't finish coughcoughcough.

How do you feel about cemeteries? Do you ever go walking/exploring in them?

I love them but I have a hard time exploring them now because of how bad my legs/feet have gotten! The ground is too uneven :(

I made an outline for a story!

I used to live quite close to an old one under monumental protection (across the street and about 50 meters down) and passed it on my way to school. It was smallish and started operating around the end of the 16th century up until around the 80's. Obviously, being buried there wasn't possible anymore.

I only explored it once for a short while. It was neat! Very quiet and peaceful atmosphere, pretty, full of greenery (I think there was actually a problem with too much ivy growing and damaging the gravestones). I'm usually not really a fan of graveyards since they creep me out, but there was nothing creepy about this one at all. I actually regret not exploring it some more before moving away.

Outlining some material I decided to add to the story. I should warn this is for a sex slave AU.

He toes a heap of thick rope lying scattered over the floor, edging it out of his way. While the galley seemed like an impressive ship from shore, there’s barely any space to stand on deck. Only a handful of men are bustling about, replacing the tattered rigging, and already it’s too crowded.

“I don’t get how the Venetians can stand it.”

“They can smell the profit, my friend.”

Sadik sniffs the air and regrets it immediately. All he can smell is the sweat of overworked crewmen and brine.

“Profit fuckin’ stinks.”

“Oh? Then you’re not interested in the spoils of a Venetian galley we seized this morning? The plunder’s already been divided, but you can still catch the auction of the captured crew.”

Sadik uses him as he sees fit. He drapes himself over his body like a blanket, rests his leg between Ludwig’s, all to make it more comfortable for himself.

Once he’s built up a fast, reliable rhythm with his hand, he watches the body underneath him. He doesn’t have to wait long until there’s a subtle shift in Ludwig’s breathing. Ludwig parts his lips, his chest heaves a bit faster, and there’s an occasional hitch in his breath.

Sadik grins and leans in closer, inches from Ludwig’s face. He stares him down, watching the blush quickly spread across Ludwig’s cheeks, watching how Ludwig frowns and looks away.

As his punishment, Sadik stops stroking.

"Never mind." Ville rolled off of Hannu, and instead sat up next to him, looking down at him in the dark. The small amount of light coming in from the moon outside wasn't much to see by. "You were talking in your sleep. I was worried."

"Just a dream," Hannu muttered. He ran his fingers through his hair, brushing it out of his face. Then he stopped, staring upward. "A normal dream. Don't worry."

I find them peaceful and soothing. I don't go out of my way to go to one (they're all far away from where I live, anyway) but when I am in one, I find them pleasant.

...I also used to think the Lavender town theme sounded like a lullaby.
