Saeko from Shitsuren Chocolatier (the live action series). Stupid bitch.
She treated the MC horribly (but expects him to treat her nicely), leads him on, acts all depressed when he doesn't pay her attention, and goes on a quasi-date with the MC despite having a husband. (SPOILERS!!) Then she runs away from home after her husband turns abusive and cheats on him with the MC for no real reason. AND THEN she ends up going back to her husband after a while. What the fuck. I almost dropped the series halfway because I just hated her so much, and the MC started getting on my nerves a lot, too. The only thing I liked about Saeko was how incredibly pretty her actress looked.

Pretty much all characters who are supposed to be the paragon of purity, goodness, and so forth and that the creator of the series has essentially labeled in giant day-glo letters YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO LOVE THIS CHARACTER YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO WANT TO PROTECT THIS CHARACTER BECAUSE YOU DAMN WELL KNOW THIS PLOT IS 80%+ ABOUT CHEESILY RESCUING THIS CHARACTER. It's a huge turn-off for me, and often I simply stop watching shows/anime if it seems like the premise is going to turn to damsel-rescuing.

i wish they weren't main characters. to be fair, i have a terrible track record with gundam, as i almost always feel ambivalence or disliking toward the characters from gundam series. i do like epic battles and fighting giant robots and morality issues in warfare and angst, so often i give them a try regardless, buuuuut...

I rarely really hate characters. Even evil guys I tend to get attached to, if they add something to the plot.

But oh boy do I have my exceptions.

The biggest one is Hazel from Saiyuki Reload Gunlock. Holy shit. Maybe it's because I tend to dislike religios figures anyway, maybe it's because it felt like this uneeded, shoved-in huge detour from a plot that didn't need those anymore, maybe I just didn't feel it, but holy shit did I wish for him to be Makai Tenjo'd back to the West like mad.
