minor tealdeer as anon has Feelings about this

!!!

I. Had no idea people despised this film...? My English professor showed it to the class since it was the Shakespeare play he chose as the required reading for that particular semester. (He did not want to teach Romeo & Juliet, because he thought it was over-taught, and "that's not the only flipping thing he wrote, jfc") I recall he said he wanted us to decide for ourselves if Titus Andronicus really was Shakespeare's most gratuitously violent work, and while I did find it quite violent and gory, I. Don't think it was gratuitously violent?? (I could go on for ages about how the violence contributed to the play's major themes and the general feeling of the atmosphere of the work...anon is a huge f*cking nerd fjdkljaf;) And it was definitely funny, but in a dark/black, gallows humour sort of way?? Definitely not for everyone, but fits perfectly considering the sorts of characters in it, as well as the...rather intense revenge plot.

Lavinia sure showed those f*ckers, eh?! She had no hands and they still died like the wretches they were, take that! anon is petty and vindictive and Lavinia deserved BetterTM fjkdlajf;
