So, I got the first one last week, the second one is due three weeks after the first one. If I remember correctly, after two weeks you can already have some sort of vaccine protection, but the second shot is necessary just to be extra safe.
The needle was very thin, I almost didn't notice it and didn't have any adverse/allergic reaction, aside from the injection site feeling a bit sensitive after a couple of hours, but that was no different from when I'm getting a flu shot. In general you shouldn't do sports or anything physically demanding afterwards and ideally sit down and wait at least 15 minutes, to see if there are any immediate side effects. And out of several co-workers, only one had a mild headache afterwards, even someone else, who has many allergies, had no problems.
