It's a brand new day and the sun is high! All the bird's are singing because we've moved on from Livejournal!

It's our first post on Dreamwidth, meme! I'm excited! I'm scared! I'm imagining the meme getting ready for a totally crazy 80s prom by getting a music montage makeover, complete with scrunchy and neon-blue denim jacket!

I don't know what to say! Please forgive any growing pains we might have, probably due to my newness to Dreamwidth. Other than that...

[Signs have been strung across the meme with arrows pointing to a large meeting room. A water cooler and small finger foods are laid out across side tables, and a large central table has been set up with nametags in front of each seat]

[A voice booms over speakers strategically placed around the meme]

THE WORLD MEETING IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN IN FIVE MINUTES. ALL NATIONS KINDLY REPORT TO THE MEETING ROOM.

[In front of each seat a small packet with pens, a notepad, and a sheet of paper is laid:]

[Does he have time to draw on the board then?]

[takes Lithuania's name tag and throws it across the room. Then switches his own with Germany's and plops the hell down for a long, boring meeting]

[Wait, there's hardly anyone even here. Is... is everyone late? Wasn't the meeting supposed to start like two hours ago? Uh. Hang on, he wasn't prepared to be on time. Opening statement, opening statement, where did he put it. Fuck it, he's going off the cuff]

[Jeez, he doesn't even wanna be here. This is stupid!]

[Takes his seat though. The people who sit next to him have really unfortunate luck.]

[He doesn't have anything in particular to address, so he'll just write the time and date and everything at the top of the notebook page to keep it neat.]

[Grabs some food before sneaking into his seat, 20 minutes late. Who has a World Meeting on such short notice, and even worse, on a Sunday?]

[He doesn't have any notes with him, but his boss wants him to get closer to the Asian countries, so he'll see what he can do.]

So there's this big huge hole on this nice new meme! I think that we should close it up with a giant piece of plastic, and we can seal the edges by melting it with a giant laser!

...And we should set up some kind of world fundraiser for driving lessons for Germany.

[his boss wrote him up a nice, pretty speech about how everything is FINE and PERFECTLY UNDER CONTROL at his place with reminders that Istanbul is still an excellent candidate for the 2020 Olympics, but he doesn't much feel like reading it]
