Battle Royale - Day 17

In case you weren't aware yet, the bow and arrows that were delivered yesterday have been picked up by contestant #5. So if you want that bow, that's who you have to kill to get it.

By the way we wanna remind everyone that except for one of you, everybody is guaranteed to die here! We didn't go through all this trouble just to let you walk away mostly unscathed. There's no hope of escape for you, no hope to take us down. Your collars will detonate looong before that happens. In fact if we hear any more serious talk of trying to escape or other subversive actions, we're gonna make an example of you and detonate your collar. You can play the game by running and hiding or wasting your time however you want, that's fine by us. But you have to play the game.

If you want to end the game, you can head on over to today's danger zones B6 and J4.



[One way of playing the game is heading over the observatory, which looks like this. And then set a bloody little trap for your fellow contestants. Or you can hide in one of its nooks and crannies and wait for your fellow contestants to come to you.]

[ sometime after the storm had passed, Japan had headed from the shrine to the observatory. Now he's fully dressed again and clean after the hot tub episode from earlier, taking cover in the larger upstairs area, but wait, were those noises he heard from downstairs--? He's been on edge and the announcement from today didn't help with that he can't even have revenge against the people running this after all... so he decides to ninja again and somehow conceal himself closer to the ceiling and the stairs, just in case someone decides to show up below, or if he needs to escape. ]

[ if need be, he can attempt to push or throw someone down the stairs.... at this point, it's not seeming like a completely bad idea, especially if America-san now has those bow and arrows along with whatever his original weapon was. Japan's not sure anymore how much longer he'll be able to hide for before someone tries to kill him instead... ]

[Those noises he's hearing? Still-damp, upset Italy wandering in downstairs]

[Half his bag is still wet from the storm and he must have landed wrong on America because he's still sore but hey at least he has his rope]

[ it's a bit dark in here due to the lack of lighting, and Japan can't tell who that person is yet as a result, but there's definitely someone coming up the stairs -- should he? -- ]

[ quickly making up his mind, he'll let go from the ceiling and land right behind Italy in a flash, grabbing Italy's shoulder to turn him around, and slightly bent arrow at the ready in his palm. ]

[ when Italy is turned around, he'll see the tip of said arrow aiming straight for his throat. ]

[ (but isn't this person's presence a bit familiar...? Then again, with all the nations "competing" in this, and that anon and the animals already dead, is it someone he knows--?) ]

[ (if Italy's quick, he would catch Japan by surprise in time to stop his attack!) ]

[Italy sees the motion out of the corner of his eye, but he's not fast enough to avoid being turned around, and lets out a brief yell before the arrow is pointed right at his throat oh God]

[Tries not to move his head too much as he talks- the arrow is really uncomfortably close to his throat- and drops his bag, raising his open hands to about shoulder height]

[ Japan's gaze was serious and dark in his determination, but at the first sound of Italy's voice, and as his eyes adjusted to the shadowy form before him, he froze just in time, though the arrow remains pointed. ]

[ recognition and a bit of shame floods into his eyes now as he quickly drops his arm holding the arrow, but also quickly he moves to cover Italy's mouth briefly with his other hand in his hastiness. ]

S-Shh, if anyone else comes here, they'll hear us--! [ whisper!! can Italy-kun even whisper ]

Please forgive me, I thought you might have been an enemy...
