And fire-makin' whatsits?

If we can't find a lighter a magnifying glass might work too. Or rubbing sticks against another.

Sticks? Thought that only worked in th'movies!

[picks up the chair he just put away, and...sorry little chair buddy, it's for a good cause]

Well, not really sticks, but if the wood is dry enough the friction should be enough to spark a fire.

[starts working apart the chair shards, stepping on a piece here, pulling against the grain of a break there--]
