Part 11 comes after Part 10
Part 10 is over! Part 11 is here. If you haven't checked the challenge entry, the challenge has been extended until Part 11 maxes. Hopefully that is enough time for people who are busy with finals and such to find time to enter, if they'd like to!
Should I mention that the number 11 scares me? I really don't like that number. Like how Natalie Portman hated the number 5 (or 6?) in Where the Heart Is. But a higher number. Well, anyway.
Da Rules:
*No image bombing.
Da Notes:
*If you're feeling down, make sure to get help, and refer to links on previous parts if you need them.
*If you don't know how to post images while anon, refer to this comment. Make sure to follow the directions on that comment as well!
And also:
*Posting on this meme, logged in or not, is opening you up and taking the risk for positive and negative comments. If you can't handle that response to your logged in comments, I'd suggest posting anon and not drawing attention to yourself.
*What you say is what you say, so please make sure you want to say it. Except for special cases (that hopefully will not come up) I won't be deleting or screening comments.
*This is a NSFW space. Warnings are not required.
-Feel free to comment or message me with any questions/concerns.

All he can see is snow.
The blizzard blinds him, traps him, limits his vision in every direction. Still, Finland staggers on, managing step after step through the wasteland.
Russia's words still ring in his mind, loud and clear even over the howling winds, and they give him the strength to go on.
If you can walk home, little one, Russia had whispered, tying the scarf on tightly, You are free.
And Finland can. He knows he can. General Winter has been his ally as much as Russia's, and he can handle the cold. Already he's starting to feel warmer - exertion, perhaps, or maybe he's getting closer to somewhere where warmth exists.
He can see home in his mind. Sweden will be waiting for him, all silent concern and awkward caring, and Sealand will pester him with questions upon questions, and Hana-tamago will leap into his arms and nuzzle him to death. Finland will warm himself by the fire and then cook a proper dinner for his family at last.
He can't wait.
Step after step through the white that surrounds him. He just has to keep moving. Keep moving and soon he'll be home, and it'll be so warm, so nice...
Oh. He's on his face. When did that happen? He tries to stand, but his arms and legs are sluggish somehow. But it's warmer, and so he resolves to lay there for just a moment more. He can rest.
And the blizzard's clearing slowly. In the snow he sees a dim figure, and a second later he makes it out. Sweden. He's saying something that Finland can't make out, and kneeling by him to pick him up, and it's so warm and Sweden's smiling down at him.
Nearby Finland can hear Sealand playing with Hana-tamago, and the roar of the crackling fire, and everything is warm and wonderful. He can rest a bit, and then he'll make a nice dinner.
"How did I not notice?" he says aloud, the words slurred. "I'm... already home..."
He'll nap for just a moment, he decides, and closes his eyes slowly. Soon, soon, he'll wake up with his family.
Soon.
