Part 10 is over! Part 11 is here. If you haven't checked the challenge entry, the challenge has been extended until Part 11 maxes. Hopefully that is enough time for people who are busy with finals and such to find time to enter, if they'd like to!

Should I mention that the number 11 scares me? I really don't like that number. Like how Natalie Portman hated the number 5 (or 6?) in Where the Heart Is. But a higher number. Well, anyway.

What is the custom really? When I see a prompt that I like on the kinkmeme that says anyone/anyone, and that I'd like to write for one of my pairings but then there's almost always a little "bonus: for using this or that pairing".

I keep feeling like it'd be incredibly rude to do the prompt with any other pairing than what the bonus says so I never try it :( Is it?

Well if they really wanted it, they should have put it in the prompt, not as a bonus. So fuck them! Write it with whoever you want!

It seems to me that they do not want to deter writers' creative flow.

I've added that kind of stuff sometimes because I would like my fav pairings, but I'm mostly interested in getting my kink filled. So go with what you feel like writing - there's always second-fill-ish stories :)

I guess the only rude thing I would consider was if someone bonused for Spain/S.Italy and someone posted France/Spain or whatever...

Anon has a good point! I can see how someone wouldn't want their OTP broken up. In fact I know there are some options I hate to see half my own OTP with.

But as the others pointed out, if you said anyone was fine, you'll have to accept if a completely different pairing is used.
