I started my period last night. I have this habit of waking up with my hand down my pants when I have hot dreams, and I woke up this morning to... well. Yeah.

Oh my. Sometimes I have to do a finger/hand check if I feel increasingly wet in bed or in private (hurr), just to make sure if I've started or not sometimes. Very uncomfortable when your crotch likes to "leak" a lot and when you have the heaviest flows around.

It's really uncomfortable, isn't it? Especially when you don't even have the warning cramps if you ARE bleeding. That makes it the worst.

~~Or of course, when you wake up to find a big wet spot in bed and it turns out to be all blood. Avoided that last time thanks to a strange "warning" dream, but it has happened before~~

Oh oh I know. But for me the bleeding actually is the warning, I get huuuge cramps. D: If I don't get to take the pain killers early enough it's going to take hours for the ache to ease. ;__;

You too? I find that if I take the pain killers right when I start bleeding I can bypass the pain altogether. But if I wait until I start feeling the cramps... ugh. Not fun.

I can usually tell since my hormones act up before my period starts.

oh, no, I knew I was on my period, I had a pad on and everything... but my brain apparently felt it appropriate to have me fingering myself while sleeping, even though my vagina was bleeding.

Oh man, that really sucks. I do the same thing when I sleep, but I've gotten around the problem once I got a menstrual cup. Wearing one makes it especially difficult to finger yourself. And since it's leak free, it's safe to stimulate your clitoris without having reddened fingers.

Of course, not everyone digs or uses cups.
