I must say that I feel Anon REAL HARD on this one. However, that just because someone else's art is better than yours, it doesn't make your works bad. There will always be someone better than you out there, and sadly, in this world of art there's not much anyone can do but continue practising. The key to success, whatever field it may be, has always been qualities like perseverance and patience. I personally find it hard for anyone to deteriorate if they are consistent in practising; your former concepts might be better, but if you look closely at the things you churn out now, you might realise that you HAVE improved--in areas like line quality, expression, feeling, professionalism. You are able to discern better what is good and what is bad, and you know better which areas to work on. Isn't that an improvement on its own?

Never give up. I acknowledge that sometimes all of us need a break, and art blocks are inevitable, however annoying they may be. But wait it out and keep at it, because it's definitely something ALL artists experience--even those who all of us currently admire. Good luck.

I think that characterisation is based more on the Danish stereotype than history. Danish history eludes me, because it's SO HARD to find anything on it--almost as if they are ashamed of the losses they suffered and therefore prefer to hide it from the English-speaking world. :( But Denmark's VERY tolerant of porn, they have a sex museum and scorn at those who are uncomfortable with it, I believe; having articles like this (http://www.xmel.com/denmark8.html) written about them probably does not help either. I am personally more inclined to think that the Dane is not defined by this one trait only, though, and prefer to explore his more interesting characteristics, like the high level of education Danes receive, their appreciation for hygge, or their clever sense of humour.
