Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

Perhaps a few more scattered instances of more serious events between all the silliness. Those tend to be some of my favorite strips.

I feel like I should have something intelligent to say about this, because these two interacting takes up the majority of my fic. But aside from “they’re stubborn and fight a lot but they love each other” my mind is drawing a blank. Anon above me did a much better job!

As far as characterization goes, Germany is very strict and serious, and likes rules and procedures, but he’s perfectly capable of having fun, too. And it’s the opposite for Prussia – he’s loud and boisterous, but has a serious side underneath it all. For me, the main trick in writing them is to try and keep the different aspects of their personalities in balance so neither of them ends up as too much of a caricature.

Huh, can only speak from my middle-eastern side of the family. But what I've seen is that they really keep their emotions on their sleeves. They can be a bit pushy, and it is true they are amazing hosts. If you liked something they cooked, they will try to make you take said food back home.

Regarding sweets, have you seen those animes where it's lunch time, and people are fighting because their share of limited edition sandwiches? Well, that's pretty much what happens when you put sweets on the table. If you don't get your piece, you'll end up without any.

If you tell one of them a secret in the morning, everyone else will know that secret by noon. I see this happening more often with men than women. They also enjoy watching soap operas, for the story and because of the pretty girls. They will also get really excited while discussing them, no lie.

Little Russia. He's so adorable, I just want to give him a hug and lots of love. Maybe he'd turn out less....messed up.

As for the one I wouldn't want, I think little Romano would drive me up the wall and back. I'm not nearly as patient as Spain.

I live with my family in a one story 3 bedroom 1 bath house. Its small and cramped because we got alot of junk. I use to live one my own, but I choose poorly for my career path. Now I'm stuck here.
