Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)

IF YOU WANT THE SPAIN AND ROMANO SET GOOD LUCK ANON BECAUSE THE AUCTION BIDDERS ARE GOING TO DECLARE WAR OR SOMETHING I CAN FEEL IT (LIKE THE COASTERS FROM 2012 CAFE WENT UP TO LIKE $30+ ETC FOR SOME CHARACTERS BUT THAT WAS /COASTERS/ IMAGINE IT FOR THESE MASCOTS OH MY GOD)

(He has always been fairly popular but now he has been even more so since the 5th season - popular enough to even warrant his own item at another event which has never happened before????? The bids for his merchandise have been p crazy recently too, more so then usual *wanted his plushie but it went to 3,900 Yen and that's over $60 total if you use a shopping service to bid on the Japanese site auction for you. But just last year my friend managed to get him for around $20 ;m;)

(I don't frequent bids because I don't know Japanese, so I look at pixiv and magazine polls in order to know who and what is popular at the toment (i.e. how mucho does the tag update? How many doujins do they get?) and from the looks of it already during 2010 and 2011 he was popular. But from what you say it seems he's even more so now? ngl, I hope this means we get some Spain strips for vol.6)

(Which reminds me most Hetalia tags aren't as active as they used to be)

(If Hima still updated his blog, the fandom would be much more active right now. I've seen various Japanese fans complaining about the lack of blog updates. But I think Deen has done a good job of giving the series a push forward with the new anime)

(Really? I haven't seen the complaints about the lack of blog updates? But it is really curious why he hasn't been updating... Like you said, Deen (... or whoever?? is it even Deen? dfjkgfd) did a good job and 5th season has been a big success even without the updates! And even if the Western fandom is much smaller, the Japanese fandom always lasts for quite a while even after a series so we'll still always have a bit of something :"])
