part 333 wild ponies running free across the plain
Hi meme! How was your week? Mine was interesting. I just made pad thai noodles (this wasn't the interesting part) but the noodles came out too rubbery/chewy and I am disappointed. I'm also on an Izumi Yukimura kick today! Are you on any particular music kicks? (Also, man I wish you could embed videos on Dreamwidth! A gal can dream, I guess.)
Enjoy part 333!

...Er--!! [ and give him a second as he tries to think of what would keep Italy busy. ]
There was my birthday, back in March, and... siestas, and work --
[ Italy does work sometimes...! Really, Germany! -- ]
...and I visited my brother, and Japan!...
no subject
[But that wouldn't keep him that busy for 6 months straight!]
Ah, that's... responsible of you. [The work part, at least. He'd expected the other answers. Almost feels like patting you on the head as he says this]
But what's not responsible is that you didn't call me! At all! [Which is his way of saying he was getting worried about Italy]
no subject
I'll try to keep that in mind...!
[ pausing as he tries to think of what else to say. ]
Well... my dare lasts until the end of this conversation.
[ and then slips up, forgetting that he never said what the dare actually was. ]
[1/3]
[But you're really acting strange]
Italy, did I... Ah, t-that is, did I do something wrong?
[2/3]
Ah...!
[3/3]
[But after having remembered bits of Italy's advice, something else stands out as well]
You haven't made that weird noise in a while... Was that your dare?
1/2
2/2
[ and ] -- Germany hasn't done anything wrong...!
Re: 2/2
W-What's going on?! Something's not right! Hurry up and explain yourself!
no subject
[ as it is, Japan is wincing visibly and looking off to the side. ]
But the dare....!
[ he doesn't want to let Anonymous down...! ]
no subject
You're acting too weird!!
I want to hear exactly what the dare entails! Word for word! Leave nothing out! You have 30 seconds!
no subject
I have to act like someone else and have a conversation...!
[ conveniently does not mention cosplay as a part of the "acting". ]
no subject
Then who are you supposed to act like?
no subject
Anyone, really...
But -- don't worry, Germany...!
[ glancing to the side again. ]
It's only for this conversation, so...!
no subject
Then we'll end this conversation so you can be yourself again.
[Which is his way of saying he misses regular old Italy]
no subject
But --
...Wouldn't they consider that "cheating"?
no subject
You didn't say the dare included any other rules.
no subject
[ actually flailing a bit, here. Is it to act in character or not? He might be flailing just slightly as Japan, too. At least, because Germany doesn't know it's him. ]
I don't want to break them...!
[ actually looking quite distressed over it, too. ]
no subject
What rules?! I told you to repeat the dare word for word!
no subject
[ he really doesn't! ]
Can we -- just continue our conversation normally?
[1/2]
[2/2]
Very well...
no subject
[ here, have some fake hearts in his attempt to mimic Italy. ]
Germany, I'm glad you've been well. [ but he really is. ]
no subject
[Pats you on the head a bit]
Same here.
But more importantly, remember to inform me the next time you're going to be away for a long period of time!
no subject
I will...!
[ he at least makes a mental note to remind Italy of that the next time Japan encounters him. ]
