Yeah, that's the problem sometimes w/ some cleave gags too. It's so thin that the tongue can still maneuver and the gagged person is still comprehensible. Which is um... Why do we gag people again?

Oh, yeah, actually, stuffing something in is the best way to gag a person, if your purpose is to keep them quiet. It muffles the noises so unless someone's listening really hard they won't hear it. It's because the tongue can't maneuver, and then the cloth dries up/absorbs the saliva too.

Oh man, that's my favorite fantasy too. Are our brains wired, anon? xD It's basically why I started reading BDSM fics when I couldn't find enough kidnapping fics around...

I'm not too hot on ball gags either. Especially those synthetic ones. But if it's a cloth knotted into a ball in the middle and then tied around a person like a cleave gag would... HOLY SHIT WAAAAAAAAH

i love gagged and bound scenes in shows/movies in which the victim makes a good effort to escape or get help but they are foiled by the bad guys when they are very close.

or when they can hear people who could help them outside the door or car trunk or whatever, and they try and try to make noise but then the people outside are like 'do you hear something? nah, probably just a rat' and they move on. and it's just. so. close...!

Hmm, yup, yup. Very suspenseful and exciting. Especially when they're shimmying and squirming on the floor. Also, the bad guys win. Ahaha.

In movies like that though, I also like a good victim-tying process being shown on screen. Because sometimes, it's just they knock the victim out, who then wakes up already tied up and/or gagged... Mmkay, it's hot, but yeah, it's more exciting if the whole process is shown.
